Site tours of Xtreme Waste are available Tuesdays and Thursdays only. The site is operational but traffic will be at a minimum as the site is closed to the public.
Site tours are offered to school classes of all ages and tailored to suit the age and learning activities of each group. Teachers should discuss students learning objectives with an Xtreme Waste educator prior to visiting.
Xtreme Waste can manage 3 groups touring at one time. Each group will have a maximum of 10 -15 children (aged 6 and under) or 15-20 children aged 7 and over. Site tours take between 1.5 - 2 hours. We recommend students use a toilet and take a snack off-site as we do not provide these facilities.
